POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced Yard Operator for a full-time job opportunity in Shreveport, LA. This position requires the candidate to be certified to operate a 10000-pound forklift and have first aid certifications.
JOB DUTIES:
- Unloading materials from inbound shipments.
- Quality inspection of materials.
- Put away materials in storage.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must be certified to operate a 10000-pound forklift.
- Must have first aid certifications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift to 50-pounds.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Must wear Steel toe boots, additional PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) provided.
