POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Warehouse Delivery Driver with experience operating a 24’ - 26' Box Truck. In this position you will be responsible for picking up, delivering, and unloading products to job sites. This is a physically demanding position requiring the candidate to be in good physical condition. Home daily. Certifications not required.
JOB DUTIES:
- Picking up and delivering freight.
- Operating a 24’ - 26’ box truck in a safe manner.
- Review and verify all documents when picking up and delivering goods to ensure accuracy.
- Inspects vehicle and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
- Contact customers to confirm delivery details.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Meet delivery schedules.
- Document and log work.
- Report defects, accidents, or violations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience operating a 26’ box truck.
- Valid driver's license.
- Clean MVR record.
- Familiar with local and surrounding areas.
- Familiar with using GPS technology.
- Familiar with RF equipment.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to work 8+hours a day sitting, standing, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting heavy weights.
