Job Description
INDIANAPOLIS, IN
JOB TYPE: Full-time
RATE OF PAY: $17 - $21 Hourly (DOE and Shift)
SHIFT: 1st, 2nd
We are looking for experienced SAW OPERATORS Indianapolis, IN. This position requires you to have previous working experience in a manufacturing setting with set-up/operations cutting metal to specifications using various machines such as up cut, router, CNC bow bender, or vertical band saw, and must work at a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
JOB DUTIES: (including but not limited to)
- Setup and operate saw to process material to customers' specification
- Must work at a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Verifies dimensions of the finished workpiece using measuring devices
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts
- Adhere to all company safety and operational policies and procedures
- Other duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting with set-up/operations cutting metal to specifications is preferred
- Knowledgeable in various machine operations such as up cut, router, CNC bow bender or vertical band saw
- Experienced in Aluminum MIG welding a plus.
- Proficient in use of standard measuring tools with accuracy
- Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, diagram, or in schedule form
- Physical ability to lift heavy weight
- Ability to work for extended periods of time standing
- Ability to work in a team environment
