JOB TYPE: Full-time
RATE OF PAY: $19 Hourly
SHIFT: 1st, Mon-Fri (6am-3:30pm), 2nd Shift, Mon-Thurs (5pm-3:30am) & Fri (3pm-11:30pm)
NCW is looking for experienced Production Workers to fill available positions in Howe, IN. The production worker will be responsible for adding value in the process flow by accurately assembling various components, loading/unloading, packaging, quality checks, and other duties assigned. Prior experience is needed.
OPEN SHIFTS:
- 1st Shift, Mon - Fri (6am-3:30pm)
- 2nd Shift Mon - Thurs (5pm-3:30pm) & Fri (3pm-11:30pm)
AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
- General Labor
- Forklift Operator
- Welder
- Painter
- Team Leader (Bilingual)
JOB DUTIES: (including but not limited to)
- Assembling products and parts
- Following production guidelines and specifications
- Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment
- Finalizing and packaging products for shipment
- Rotation of position into different production teams as necessary to meet production schedules
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace always
- Adhere to all company safety and organizational procedures and policies
- Other duties assigned as necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience needed
- Forklift experience a plus
- Welding experience a plus
- Communication skills both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Time Management skills
- Problem-Solving skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Physical ability to work 8+ hours/day standing, bending, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Ability to lift to 45 pounds
- Ability to rotate into different production teams as necessary to meet production schedules
