Job Description
INDIANAPOLIS, IN
JOB TYPE: Full-time
RATE OF PAY: $19 Hourly
SHIFT: 1st, Monday - Friday (7am - until job is completed)
NCW is looking for 1st shift ORDER SELECTORS to manage and fill incoming customer orders, perform quality inspections, and ensure that the order is completed and correct before shipment. Only applicants with experience in COLD STORAGE and FORKLIFT OPERATION (Cherry Picker) need apply.
JOB DUTIES: (including but not limited to)
- Operate warehouse material moving equipment (electric pallet jack, reach rider, forklift)
- Order Selecting
- Pick/Packing
- Inventory Control
- Shipping/Receiving
- Material Handling
- Load/Unload
- Adhere to all company safety and operational policies and procedures
- Other duties assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior warehouse distribution experience
- Must have cold storage experience
- Must have forklift operation (cherry picker) experience
- Prior experience with inventory management
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and understand instructions
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and written
- Physical ability to lift heavy weights
- Physical ability to work 8+ hours/day standing, stooping, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Ability to work your entire shift and/or to the end of the job
- Ability to work as a team member
