JOB TYPE: Full-time
JOB TYPE: Full-time
COMP: $15.50/hr. - $16.25/hr.
SHIFT: 1st (6am-4:30pm M-Th, OT Friday), 2nd (4:30pm-3am M-Th, OT Friday)
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Material Handler is responsible for handling materials related to the shipping and receiving of inventory and customer orders.
JOB DUTIES:
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Become familiar with the products handled, including color coding and customer specification.
• Unloading and receiving of inbound stock shipments and loading of outbound shipments, including all paperwork necessary to perform these duties
• Load trucks in a safe manner, including chaining and tarp trailer.
• Other duties assigned.
JOB DUTIES:

REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or GED
• Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations on load weight preferred.
• Ability to read all measuring devices.
• Ability to follow safety and operations processes and procedures
• Communication skills verbally and written.
• Time management and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work overtime.
• Ability to lift to 50lbs.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
