POSITION OVERVIEW:
NCW is looking for Material Handlers for a job opportunity with a newly built distribution center in Indianapolis, IN. In this position you will be performing various task that will include, but not limited to, picking inbound customer orders, preparing orders for shipment, pack, sorting and stocking, operating warehouse material moving equipment efficiently and safely. Prior forklift experience preferred (stand up, reach truck, order picker). This is a new facility in a terrific location with excellent longevity opportunity.

JOB DUTIES:
- Order picking
- Packing
- Labeling
- Loading/unloading.
- Move materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse with the use of pallet jack (electric/manual), forklifts (stand up, reach truck, order picker), hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company safety and operational procedures and policies.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience
- Forklift experience (stand up, reach truck, order picker).
- Steel toe boots (other PPE provided).
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Attention to detail.
- Communication skills verbal and written.
- Ability to work extended hours standing.
- Ability to repeatedly lift to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills and or familiarity with VSM.
- Time management skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to give and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
