POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Laurinburg. In this position you will perform troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair maintenance types of manufacturing machinery and tractor/trailers. Candidate must be mechanically and electronically inclined.
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on various types of manufacturing equipment and tractor/trailers.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair.
- Ensure equipment meets or exceeds DOT and OSHA Regulations
- Respond to emergency breakdowns.
- Maintain complete and correct maintenance documentation.
- Adhere to all company safety and operating procedures and policies.
- Other duties assigned as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medium/heavy fleet mechanic repair preferred.
- Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment preferred.
- Must be skilled in Diagnostics, Electrical, Air Brake systems, and HVAC.
- Welding experience a plus.
- Familiar with hydraulic systems.
