POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for experienced Maintenance Mechanic in Laurinburg, NC. In this position you will perform preventive maintenance on several types of tractor/trailers, and off-road equipment ensuring that equipment meets or exceeds all DOT and OSHA Regulations prior to operating.

We are looking for experienced Maintenance Mechanic in Laurinburg, NC. In this position you will perform preventive maintenance on several types of tractor/trailers, and off-road equipment ensuring that equipment meets or exceeds all DOT and OSHA Regulations prior to operating.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on several types of equipment (CMV Tractors, Trailers, Yard Loaders, Forklifts, etc.)
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and repair
- Ensure equipment meets or exceeds DOT and OSHA Regulations
- Respond to emergency breakdowns
- Maintain complete and correct maintenance documentation
- Adhere to all company safety and operating procedures and policies.
- Other duties assigned as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in medium/heavy fleet mechanic repair
- Must have technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment
- Must be skilled in Diagnostics, Electrical, Air Brake systems, and HVAC
- Previous fleet experience
- Familiar with diesel and gasoline systems
- Familiar with hydraulic systems
