POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Learning & Development Specialist to provide in-depth expertise in design, conduct, and organize training programs to improve employee performance and ensure productivity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Act as the face of the organization of the initial training programs and developing process implementations.
- Design and develop engaging training programs.
- Full project management from initial development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Partner with leadership to ensure programs are effectively implemented and meet current/future initiatives.
- Conduct proper position analysis to fill any skill gaps and communicate findings.
- Recommend any necessary continued learning/training for employees.
- Foster a culture of continuing education and training.
- Work collectively with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in facilities services/safety sector highly preferred.
- Direct experience managing and implementing training/educational initiatives required.
- Strong time management skills with a high attention to detail.
- Prior experience leading training courses.
- Prior experience with analyzing processes and developing corrective action plans.
- Comfortable with traveling up to 40% to visit various facilities.
