The Window and Door Installer will be tasked with taking measurements and helping install or replace windows and doors in both residential and commercial buildings. You must have a valid driver's license and truck or another reliable source of transportation.
JOB DUTIES:
- Install and service residential/commercial doors, windows and hardware
- Caulk and glaze opening to ensure the opening is watertight
- Cut and fabricate Aluminum material per written and verbal instructions to accommodate opening
- Inspect completed job to ensure that no damage has occurred and that opening functions properly
- Track and keep all job-related paperwork and submit in a timely manner
- Work with installation manager and the sales team to ensure projects are completed properly and on schedule
- Keep company vehicles and equipment properly serviced, clean and in safe working order
- Before starting a new project review the packaging slips and materials to ensure they are correct and will work in the customer's opening
- Aid with special projects and other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to display professionalism and craftmanship
- A focus on customer satisfaction and quality work
- Knowledgeable in the use of power tools, caulk gun, taking measurements, applying expansive foams
- Carpentry experience a plus
- Communication skills written and verbal
- Able to understand and follow instructions verbally and written
- Problem-solving and time management skills
- Physical ability to lift 25 to 75 pounds or greater consistently and remain on your feet during workday
