SHIFT: 1st, Mon-Fri (expect 50-hours/week)
We are looking for General Labor in Goshen, IN. We have open positions in various departments on 1st shift working indoor/outdoor at a Metal Recycling Scrap Yard. If you have prior experience working in Sorting, Picking and Packing, Shipping and Receiving, Utility, Equipment Operation (heavy/light), Material Handling, and are willing to work overtime, we want to hire you.
JOB DUTIES: (including but not limited to)
- Picking/Packing
- Sorting
- Shipping/Receiving
- Material Handling
- Equipment Operation (heavy/light)
- Quality Inspection
- General Housekeeping
- Customer Service
- Adhere to all company safety and operational procedures and policies
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience preferred
- Prior experience running mobile equipment (e.g., Forklift, Bob Cat, Skid Steer) a plus
- Customer Service skills
- Communication skills both verbal and written
- Organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to Detail
- Flexible and willing to work weekends if needed
- Physical ability to lift to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Physical ability to work 8+ hours/day standing, bending, crouching, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, lifting heavy weights
- Ability to work in various weather conditions if working outdoors
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer skills
