POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician who will be responsible for executing both predictive and planned preventive maintenance functions. You should be able to read electrical system design plans and recommend improvements, as well as calibrate instruments, and diagnose faulty equipment. This is a direct hire position. Comp starts at $25+/hr. Based on experience.

JOB DUTIES:
- Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment.
- Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
- Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment.
- Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-year electrical, technical, or related degree.
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship.
- At least 2 years of experience as an electrical technician.
- Maintenance of electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
